About the Voting Process
The most innovative feature of our website is the integrated voting system which enables you to decide which classes make it on our schedule. That's right, YOU determine the curriculum! There is nothing else like this on the Web, far as we know. And we're proud to be a part of it.
Some core classes will be on the schedule by default. The bulk of our classes, however, are "Unscheduled." They languish in the obscurity of virtual existence until YOU, our heroes, rescue them and make them real. That's where voting comes in. A vote is a show of interest. It means you are interested in seeing a class on the schedule and are willing to pay for it. When enough votes have been submitted by enough people to justify offering the class, it will be put on the schedule with a real date and a real time, and all interested parties (voters) will be notified.
Unscheduled classes are indicated by the words "Vote Me In" next to them on the full class list. Simply select the class and you will be given an opportunity to vote for it on the ensuing class description page. Scheduled Classes on the other hand, are indicated by a date and time. No votes are needed for scheduled classes. However, if the date or time of a scheduled class doesn't work for you, you will be given the same opportunity to vote for the class on its description page. In that case you're voting for another date for that class, which should be a common occurrence. When enough votes are collected, another date and time will be posted to the schedule for that class, and an email notification will be sent to you.

The vote meter indicates the level of interest that a class has attracted to date, and how close the class is to earning a place on our schedule.

If I Vote for a class, am I obligated to take it?
When a new class has been voted in and scheduled, voters are not obligated to follow through and actually purchase the class if they don't want to. The class has to be offered on an acceptable date, at an acceptable time, and at a reasonable price. But we will make every effort to make sure that happens. Please be patient. Some classes may take longer to achieve the necessary votes. And some may never get there. In any case, your one vote helps!
What if I want the class now?
Don't want to wait for Voting to put your class on the schedule? No problem. We have training alternatives that can be arranged in a matter of days. How many votes are needed for a given class?
Usually, between 6 and 10 depending on the class. The exact number is chosen by a training center administrator when the class is first created and placed on the list of "Unscheduled" classes. When you vote for a class we will notify you by email when the class is getting close to meeting its goal. And you will of course receive another email notification when the class vote target has been achieved.

What happens when a class vote target is achieved?
First, you will receive an email notification. Then we will determine the best date and time for the class, which should be whatever is most suitable to the most people and also suitable for the instructor. We will also determine a reasonable price for the class. You will then receive another email notification with those details along with a link to proceed to our website and reserve your seat(s) for the class.

How long will it take for the class I want to be Voted in?
As soon as possible! We will make every effort to publicize our classes and conjure up as much interest as possible among Apple users in this region. Because the more Apple users we get to visit the website, the sooner the classes will achieve their required votes and earn a place on the schedule. Please be patient. Some classes may take longer to achieve the necessary votes. And some may never get there. In any case, your one vote helps!
How many times can I vote?
You can place one vote per class. You can vote once for any of the many classes we offer. However, when a class gets voted in and you sign up to take that class, your vote for that class is cancelled. If you manually cancel your vote for a class, your voting power for that class will be reset and you will have the option to cast another vote for it.
Why can't I see the date and time of most of your classes?
Because those classes aren't scheduled yet. Unscheduled classes don't have dates because we don't even know yet if they will take place. That's why you vote, in order to help get the class realized and on the schedule. When that happens, we will determine a date and time that works best for the most people. That date and time won't always work for YOU. But you'll have the option to vote for the class again, in hopes of triggering a new one with a more favorable date and time.
